1.2 The Contributor Login
For photographers, illustrators, and videographers uploading content to sell:

- Note: While your credentials may be the same as the main site, the portal is separate. Using the main site login will not take you to your contributor dashboard.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
- Available for enhanced security.
- Typically uses SMS, authenticator apps, or email codes depending on Shutterstock’s options.
- Enable in Account Settings > Security (follow prompts to pair your device).
- Keep recovery codes or alternate contact methods secure.
On a Desktop Browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
- Navigate to
shutterstock.com.
- Click the "Log in" link in the upper navigation bar.
- Enter your Email address associated with the account.
- Enter your Password (Passwords are case-sensitive).
- Click the blue "Log in" button.
- Optional: Check the "Remember me" box if you are on a private device to avoid logging in every time.
3.1 Team Accounts
Shutterstock offers "Team Plans" where a designated Administrator invites members via email. The login process for these members differs slightly: shutterstock login
- Invitation Workflow: New members do not create an account immediately; they accept an invitation link which ties their credentials to the corporate team.
- Seat Management: The login credentials are validated not just for authenticity, but for active seat status. If an administrator removes a seat, the login credentials may remain valid, but access to the corporate license pool is revoked immediately.

Option B: Apple ID (iOS/macOS only)
- Click “Log in with Apple.”
- Use Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.
- Note: Shutterstock will receive your relay email (e.g.,
xxxx@privaterelay.appleid.com). Keep a record of this.
