Step 6 – Proceed to Component-Level Testing

Now use the PCB layout diagram to locate Q1308 (the pre-driver transistor). Check its DC bias. The service manual gives pin voltages. If they are off, trace back to the bias regulator.

Without the service manual, you would be blindly replacing MOSFETs (expensive and risky). With it, you target the fault systematically.
