Note: The "Manganese" branch was later scrapped. Windows 10 20H2 was eventually based on a forked 20H1 codebase (Build 19042), making 19536 an orphaned build in terms of final retail releases.
Buried in the code was a flag for a "less live tile" Start Menu. Microsoft was experimenting with removing the colored square backplates, making tiles blend with the accent color—a feature that eventually shipped in 20H2.
While the build number increment was significant (jumping from the 19000 series to the 19500 series), the visible feature set was intentionally lean, focusing on refining the user experience rather than introducing radical UI changes.
This was the standout feature of this build. Microsoft overhauled the Notifications & Actions settings page to give users more granular control.
