The Good: Why this course works

By Week 3, I stopped reading RCs like a novel and started reading them like a detective looking for the author’s bias.

2. The Elimination Technique (The Gejo Gold) This is where Gejo earns his paycheck. He doesn't just tell you which option is correct; he spends 70% of the time explaining why the other three are wrong. His classification of "Out of Scope," "Opposite," and "Too Extreme" finally clicked for me. My accuracy went from 3/10 correct to 7/10 in mocks.

3. VA (Parajumbles & Odd Sentences) If you struggle with Para-jumbles (PJ) and Odd One Out (OOPS), VARC 1000 2023 has the best logical flow techniques. The "Transition Word" and "Mandatory Pair" methods are pure gold.

The (Minor) Gripes: What could be better

1. The Pace is Fast If you are a beginner who hasn't touched English since 10th grade, the first 10 days will hurt. He assumes a baseline vocabulary. I had to keep a dictionary open on my second screen constantly.

2. Content Overload There is a LOT of homework. The "Gejo 1000" question bank is massive. It’s easy to get backlogged. You need 2 hours of self-study minimum for every 1 hour of lecture.

3. No "Magic Pill" for Speed While his accuracy techniques are perfect, improving reading speed is still up to you. He gives you the drills, but you have to do the daily reading of Aeon/Aeon essays yourself.

VARC 1000 vs 2023 CAT Paper How did it hold up against the actual CAT 2023? Remarkably well. The actual CAT 2023 VARC was considered tricky (dense philosophical passages). Because VARC 1000 trains you on distractors, I found myself laughing at the wrong options in the exam. I scored 96.5%ile in VARC. For a guy who failed English in 12th grade, that is a miracle.

Final Take Gejo Sreenivas doesn't teach you VARC. He rewires your brain to think like a test setter. VARC 1000 2023 was brutal, demanding, and exhausting—but it turned my weakest section into my strongest.
