George Strait Album: “Lead On”
Description :
Personnel: George Strait (vocals); Brent Mason (acoustic & electric guitars), Paul Franklin (steel guitar); Steve Nathan (organ, synthesizer), Glenn Worf (bass); Eddie Bayers (drums); Curtis Young, Liana Manis (background vocals). <p>Everyone loves George Strait. From country fans to rock critics, George Strait is singled out as the PURE country artist. On LEAD ON, his admirers have new reason to follow. <p>His unadulterated country sound, awash in steel, fiddles and clean guitar picking, is swept by the deep waves of his distinctive Texas baritone. From the cajun dance beat of "Adalida" to the maxi-traditional "I Met A Friend Of Yours Today," Strait runs the gamut of tasty and tasteful country. No filler, no radio junkfood, just a lesson to all the wannabes, this is Country Music 101. <p>"Nobody Gets Hurt," by Jim Lauderdale (a Strait favorite) and Terry McBride, is a contemporary country classic with an old-time bass shuffle that makes it sound warmly familiar. "Down Louisiana Way" sounds like a frisky Lucinda Williams cover. "The Big One" is classic Straitabilly, an unobtrusive marriage of rock and country. "Lead On" is a gentle ballad, with dead-on delivery and phrasing. <p>Every cut is restrained, no excesses, but there's no holding back either. The tear in Strait's beer is as salty as any other country singer, and when he hurts you hear the sting. LEAD ON is like a greatest hits package: diverse, familiar, and of the highest quality. Only George Strait can pull off such a feat with ten new songs.

- An overlooked good record

George's Strait discography has always been consistently good. This CD was never much in light, but it is excellent, with even a few gems like the cajun-flavored "Adalida", and the moving "Down Louisiana Way" which were not included in his fabulous box-set. Buy and listen. Paul LeBoutillier

- Pretty good album that was overlooked

The first thing I noticed was this was the first Strait album with lyrics included in the liner notes, which was nice of them to finally do.

My favorite songs on this one are Nobody Has To Get Hurt and I'll Always Be Loving You. Both have solid melodies and choruses that practically force you to sing along. Nice, creative idea on Nobody. Lead On is very The Chair-ish, as both do great jobs at examining the initial stages of a relationship. You Can't Make A Heart delivers an impressive and overlooked message, and I Met A Friend relates a realistic scenario to the meltdown of a couple.

Adalida and Big One are songs that start to get away from him a few times, with Adalida being perhaps the only substance-free song on the album. George's weakest songs have always been at least listenable and above average. This applies to What Am I Waiting.

Overall, this is a solid album, but lacks the one gotta-have, instant-classic tune that many of Strait's other albums possess.

- One Of George's Best Albums.

I Like This Album. It Was Released In The Fall Of 1994. The Lead-Off Single "The Big One" Went Strait To Number 1. So Didn't "You Can't Make A Heart Love Somebody". The Title Track Is Also Another Love Balled. Buy This CD Today.

🏚️ The Pitts: A High-Definition Look at TV's Unluckiest Family

If you grew up in the early 2000s, you might have a hazy memory of a family so catastrophically unlucky that their daily lives felt like a live-action cartoon. That was "

," the short-lived FOX sitcom that debuted in 2003 and disappeared almost as quickly as it arrived. The "Lost" Premiere: Episode 1

The file "thepitts01e01" refers to the pilot episode, "7:00 AM," which introduced us to Bob, Liz, and their two children, Petey and Faith. While the show only aired a handful of episodes before being pulled, its DNA was pure comedy gold, coming from executive producers Mike Scully and Julie Thacker-Scully (veterans of The Simpsons). Why the Technical Specs Matter

For a show that was essentially "lost media" for years, seeing it in 1080p WEB-DL with x265 encoding is a significant upgrade.

x265 (HEVC): This compression allows for high-definition quality at a much smaller file size, making it easier for collectors to archive the series.

6CH Audio: The 6-channel (5.1 surround) audio ensures that every slapstick disaster and over-the-top sound effect hits with the impact the creators intended. Why We Still Talk About It thepitts01e01700am1080pwebdlx2656ch full

Despite its short run, The Pitts remains a fascinating footnote in TV history because of its incredible cast:

Dylan Baker as the eternally optimistic but doomed Bob Pitt.

Lizzy Caplan (in one of her earliest roles) as the daughter, Faith.

The show was so well-regarded by its creators that it was later briefly resurrected as an animated series on FOX in 2008, featuring many of the original cast members.

Whether you're a student of 2000s sitcom history or just looking for a high-quality trip down memory lane, the "7:00 AM" pilot remains a masterclass in absurdist comedy.

Since you asked for a long article, I will write an informative, SEO-friendly piece that breaks down exactly what this string of text means, how to interpret such filenames, and the technical details behind each component. The article will also address the legal and quality considerations around such files. 🏚️ The Pitts: A High-Definition Look at TV's

Advantages of WEB-DL:

  • Near-lossless quality compared to Blu-ray.
  • No watermarks (unlike WEBRips, which often have overlays).
  • Consistent bitrate.

WEB-DL is preferred over HDTV recordings because it lacks station logos, commercial breaks, or broadcast compression artifacts.

Legitimate alternatives:

  • Streaming services – Check if The Pitts (or your desired show) is on Amazon, Tubi, or YouTube.
  • Purchase digitally – Apple TV, Google Play, Vudu.
  • Free ad-supported platforms – Pluto TV, Freevee, or the Roku Channel.

If a show isn’t available legally, consider requesting it via official channels or buying a DVD copy.

Recommended naming convention for personal media library:

TVShowName_S01E01_EpisodeTitle_1080p_BluRay_x264_AAC5.1.mkv

Or for streaming caps:

Show.Name.S01E01.1080p.WEB-DL.x265.6ch.mkv

Avoid special characters, spaces (use dots or underscores), and never add ambiguous timestamps like 700am. Advantages of WEB-DL:

Good naming helps Plex, Kodi, Emby, and Jellyfin automatically identify metadata and artwork.

8. full – Complete Episode

The full tag distinguishes this from:

  • sample – a 30–60 second preview clip.
  • extras – bonus features.
  • trailer – promotional video.

full assures the downloader that the file contains the entire episode, including credits.

Recommended players:

| Platform | Player | |----------|--------| | Windows | VLC Media Player, MPC-HC, PotPlayer | | macOS | IINA, VLC | | iOS | nPlayer, VLC for Mobile | | Android | VLC, MX Player (with custom codec) | | Smart TV | Plex, Emby (if TV supports HEVC) |

If audio plays but video is choppy, enable hardware decoding in player settings or use a more powerful device.

7. 6ch – Audio Channels

6ch means 6 audio channels, typically a 5.1 surround sound setup:

  • Front Left, Front Right, Center
  • Rear Left, Rear Right
  • Subwoofer (LFE)

Streaming services usually deliver E-AC-3 (Dolby Digital Plus) or AAC 5.1 audio. In a pirated release, the audio may be transcoded to AAC 5.1 or kept as original.

If you only have stereo speakers, the player will downmix 6ch to 2ch. But the advantage of 6ch is immersion on home theater systems.
