Cheat Codes

The following cheats are known to work for Super Robot Wars Alpha 2:

  1. Unlimited Money and PP (Pre-Promotion Points):

    • Procedure: On the title screen, press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2, then X, Square, Triangle, Circle, L1, L2, R1, R2. You'll hear a beep confirming the code entry.

  2. Maximum HP and Energy:

    • Procedure: In the unit select screen, press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + X + Square + Triangle + Circle. There should be a confirmation beep.

  3. Invincibility:

    • Procedure: At the unit select screen, highlight the unit you want to make invincible. Then press L1 + L2 + Down + X.

  4. Full Repair:

    • Procedure: At the repair menu, press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Up.

  5. Max Level Up:

    • Procedure: On the status screen of a unit, press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Right.

4. How to Enter Codes on Real PS2

  1. Boot your Action Replay / Code Breaker disc.
  2. Select “Add New Code” or “Enter Code.”
  3. Type the 8- or 16-digit code exactly (case insensitive).
  4. Save the code list.

Procedure:

  1. Enter the "Organize" menu.
  2. Highlight an empty slot or a weak grunt unit.
  3. Activate the code.
  4. Exit the menu. The unit will be transformed.
  5. Immediately save and reset the console to avoid data corruption.

5. Using Codes in PCSX2 (Emulator)

PCSX2 makes cheating easier and safer.

  1. Right-click the game in PCSX2 → Properties → Patches.
  2. Click Add Patch.
  3. Choose “Cheat” as the type.
  4. Enter a name (e.g., “Max Money”).
