SysInfo is an application for Motorola 680x0 based Classic Amiga and is used for getting information about the system like OS and library versions, hardware revisions and stuff.
Exactly 19 years after version 3.24 of SysInfo it's time for an update! The original author Nic Wilson has kindly given me permission to continue the maintenance of this old classic.

The benchmark results provided by SysInfo is currently not verified on M68060 Amigas and useless in emulators set up to emulate faster than early classic amigas!
Two reports of 1 MB ECS Agnus (NTSC 8372A) identified as a 2 MB Agnus.
When using tools to rearrange windows, "dialogs" can be put behind the main window.
In WinUAE, when enabling "Fast as possible" & JIT it craches after Speed test when scrolling the libraries list.
I want more bug reports! Mail it to SysInfo (at) d0.se or use the contact form.
Changed handling of speed numbers, if big, don't print decimals
Replaced "Chip Speed vs A600" algoritm to use a lot less instructions and a lot more CHIP mem accesses resulting in a more relevant value. This results in significantly lower value for machines with instruction cache (68020+), which is more accurate because instruction cache should not affect CHIPMEM access speed.
Added support for AC68080 frequenc support
Update will no longer try to open 68040/68060.library when there is no such CPU
Bugfix: 68040/68060 non FPU guru fixed, again!
Lots of updates/corrections in the SysInfo.guide documentation.
The DRIVES/SCSI function was not 'Close'ing each drive that it 'Open'ed after the function was finished.
Stenhoj Ds2: Manual
Mastering the Stenhoj DS2: A Guide to the Manual and Operation
The Stenhoj DS2 is a staple in professional workshops, known for its reliability as a two-post electro-hydraulic lift. However, even the most robust machinery requires strict adherence to safety and maintenance protocols. The Stenhoj DS2 manual is not just a booklet of instructions; it is the primary document ensuring the safety of technicians and the longevity of the equipment.
If you have recently acquired a used DS2 or misplaced your documentation, here is a breakdown of what the manual covers and how to navigate it. stenhoj ds2 manual
Basic operation
Prepare vehicle: Park centered between posts, chock wheels if required.
Set arms: Position arms under manufacturer-approved lift points.
Raise lift: Use control switch to raise slowly; stop once vehicle clears ground and engage safety latches.
Lowering: Disengage lock only after ensuring area is clear. Lower slowly and stop if abnormal sounds/vibrations occur.
Parking: Lower arms to lowest position when not in use.
GroupDIY Forums: Search for "Stenhoj DS2 schematic." Users have scanned and shared the complete manual in the "Lab" section.
Vintage Audio Archive (VAA): This volunteer-run site hosts a high-resolution PDF of the 1991 manual revision.
Contacting Stenhoj (Now NTP): Stenhoj was acquired by NTP Technology. While they no longer support the DS2, their archive department has been known to email a scanned PDF upon request.
A Critical Note: Many online "manuals" for sale are actually just the 2-page quick-start guide. A complete manual must include the schematics and the calibration procedure.
Installation (summary)
Foundation: Concrete floor minimum thickness and strength per the manual (typically ≥150 mm, high-strength concrete). Ensure levelness and good condition.
Positioning: Place posts with correct foundation bolt layout per template in manual.
Anchoring: Use specified anchor bolts and torque to manual’s values.
Hydraulics & Power: Connect hydraulic hoses and single-/three-phase power per electrical diagram. Install motor and control box per manual.
Safety devices: Install mechanical locks, safety latches, limit switches, and safety decals as instructed.
Test lift: Perform unloaded and progressively loaded test lifts to check stability, leak-free hydraulics, and proper lock engagement.
Why the Manual is Essential Today
The DS2 is over 30 years old, and no new units have been made since Stenhoj shifted focus to broadcast routing systems in the mid-90s. Consequently, the manual has become a vital tool for:
Troubleshooting: The manual includes a voltage chart for the four internal discrete op-amps (Stenhoj’s own "S-990" modules). Without this, repairing a dead channel is guesswork.
Calibration: A rarely seen procedure describes how to recalibrate the VU meter buffer circuit—a common failure point as capacitors age.
Authenticity: Counterfeit DS2 units have appeared. The manual lists specific serial number ranges and internal PCB markings (e.g., "Rev 2.3 - 1989").
Overview
The Stenhoj DS2 is a dual-post (two-post) vehicle lift designed for workshop use. This guide covers typical installation, safety, operation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting steps for the DS2 series. Refer to the official DS2 manual for model-specific specs, safety decals, and legal requirements.
