Part 4: Advanced Work Sequences – The 3-Hour Shift
For veteran players, the exclusive “long work” scenario unlocks a hidden personality layer.
Mode 2: Maintenance Play (The “Tune-Up”)
You must perform maintenance as part of the story.
- Tools required: The Spindle Key, a soft brush.
- Walkthrough: Every 2 hours of cumulative play, pretend to open the back panel (there is a magnetic seam). Turn the Spindle Key exactly 3.5 times counter-clockwise. This does not physically wind anything—it resets the player’s commitment level, which the doll’s “mood” responds to.
Step 2: The Three Keys
Inside the box, you will find three exclusive tools:
- The Brass Spindle Key (for winding the mainspring)
- The Data Wedge (a USB-shaped token for “memory insertion”)
- The Miniature Oil Can (symbolic; used to “lubricate” joints before serious play)
Exclusive Tip: Most users skip the oiling step. Do not. In Robozou work-play, every joint creak is a narrative event. Apply one drop of water (representing oil) to each shoulder, elbow, and hip joint while whispering a task order.
Tier 2: Contracted Work (Levels 11-25)
- Actions: Quality assurance for other users’ 3D prints, emotional support cycles, code debugging via the LED screen on the doll’s chest.
- Reward: 200-500 NC + rare material drops (Titanium Scrap, Glimmer Oil).
- Walkthrough Tip: In Contracted Work, you must keep the doll’s "Attention Meter" above 80%. If you walk away or move the doll erratically, the meter drops, and you fail the contract.
How to craft an engaging walkthrough for it
- Start with a roadmap: Quick overview of goals and how “work” systems affect outcomes.
- Mix formats: Short step-by-step sections for puzzles, interleaved with narrative annotations that capture doll-play charm.
- Show tradeoffs: When work choices change story or resources, present concise pros/cons so players can decide.
- Highlight exclusives transparently: Explain how to obtain them and reassure players they aren't mandatory.
5. Important Restrictions (“Exclusive” Rules)
- One per account: Work exclusive dolls cannot be traded or sold.
- No gacha: You will never find these in premium loot boxes.
- Time-limited windows: Some work exclusives are only available during special “Motivation Campaign” weeks.
- Cannot be obtained via skip tickets – you must manually complete the work shift.
