Project Cars 2 Randomizer
Are you tired of the same GT3 races at Spa? It’s time to let fate take the wheel with the Project CARS 2 Randomizer! 🎲🏎️
Project CARS 2 is famous for its massive roster and the "LiveTrack 3.0" system, but most of us only see a fraction of what the game offers. Using a randomizer forces you out of your comfort zone and into some of the most intense, unpredictable racing scenarios possible. 🛠️ How it Works
A randomizer tool (like the community-made scripts or web-based randomizers) selects a completely random combination for your next session: Vehicle: From vintage karts to the 1,000hp Formula X.
Track: Over 140 layouts, including hidden gems and rallycross dirt. Weather: Sunny, blizzard, or a mid-race thunderstorm. Time of Day: High noon or a pitch-black midnight sprint. 🏆 The "Chaos Challenge" Try this setup for your next stream or solo session: Generate one random car and track combination.
Set the weather to "Random" with 4 slots to experience a full seasonal cycle. No restarts! Whatever the machine picks, you have to drive.
Have you ever tried a 1970s F1 car at a snowy Nordschleife? It’s terrifying, hilarious, and the best way to rediscover this sim racing classic. Drop your craziest randomized combos in the comments! 👇 project cars 2 randomizer

How to Install and Use the Project CARS 2 Randomizer (PC Guide)
The most popular version is the Randomizer Tool available on GitHub and the RaceDepartment forums. Here is the step-by-step installation guide. Are you tired of the same GT3 races at Spa
Step 1: Download the Tool
Search for "PC2 Race Randomizer" on GitHub (created by user "TheIronWolf" or similar community forks). Look for the latest release (v1.2 or higher). Download the .exe or the Python source code. Do not download from suspicious adfly links.
Step 2: Extract the Files Save the file to your desktop. You do not need to place it in the PC2 game directory; it only acts as an overlay helper.
Step 3: Run as Administrator
Right-click the .exe and select "Run as Administrator." This allows the tool to read your active memory or extracted database.
Step 4: Configure Parameters This is where the magic happens. A good randomizer tab looks like this:
- Car Class: Road D, Road C, Road B, Road A, GT4, GT3, GTE, LMP2, LMP1, Rallycross, Vintage, Formula Rookie, Formula A, etc.
- Track: All tracks, only wet tracks, only US tracks, only classics.
- Weather: Clear, Light Cloud, Heavy Overcast, Light Rain, Thunderstorm.
- Time Progression: Real time, x5, x10, x30.
Pro Tip: Initially, check the box for "Same class only." A Formula 1 car versus a Mini Cooper is funny for one lap, but it gets old fast. Uncheck it once you trust the chaos. How to Install and Use the Project CARS
Step 5: Hit Randomize Click the button. The tool will present: "Car: 1999 BMW V12 LMR (LMP1) | Track: Circuit of the Americas (Night) | Weather: Light Rain -> Heavy Fog."
Step 6: Manual Setup in Game The tool does not inject code into the game (to avoid anti-cheat bans). You must manually go into Project CARS 2, select that car, track, and conditions. This takes 60 seconds but is worth it.
Method 1: The "Wheel of Misfortune" Spreadsheet (Best for Streamers)
This is the most popular method. You create a simple spreadsheet or use a free online "Wheel of Names."
- Column A (Cars): Export the PC2 car list. Remove duplicates (e.g., separate LMP1/GT3 classes). Add absurd conditions: "Any Vintage Lotus" or "Any Road Car over 600hp."
- Column B (Tracks): List every location. Include specific layouts like "Sakitto Sprint" or "Long Beach - East."
- Column C (Weather Slots): Create patterns. Example: "Light Cloud -> Heavy Rain -> Fog" or "Clear -> Overcast -> Thunderstorm -> Hail (Modded)."
- The Rule: You spin three wheels. Whatever comes up, you run a 15-minute practice, 5-minute quali, and a 20-minute race.
