Method 3: The Permission Lock (The "Nuclear" option)

This method prevents NPLAY from running entirely, but it will break any game that requires it. Use this only if you have uninstalled the games but the files remain.

1. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Naver\NPLAY (or search your PC for nplay.exe).
2. Right-click the folder > Properties > Security.
3. Click Advanced.
4. Change the owner to your current user (if needed) and click Disable inheritance.
5. Remove all permission entries.
6. Click OK. Windows can no longer execute NPLAY.

• Disable browser autoplay and sound. (Browser settings → Media/Autoplay)
• Turn off nonessential push notifications on phone and desktop (Settings → Notifications).
• Remove or disable browser extensions you don’t use.
• Unsubscribe from promotional emails and turn off in-app marketing notifications.
