- Some antivirus engines flag
NeoProgrammer.exe or CH341Drv.sys as riskware because of low-level hardware access.
- This is a false positive typical for programmer software.
- To safely use: Add the program folder to antivirus exclusions.
- Always verify the downloaded file’s digital signature or checksum against the official release.
1. Reading a Chip
- Place the chip in the ZIF socket or attach a SOIC8 clip.
- Click Read IC. The progress bar will fill while the entire memory is dumped into the buffer.
- Save the buffer as a
.bin file via File > Save.
Step 1: Uninstall Old Versions
If you have an older Neo Programmer or the original CH341A software installed, uninstall it via Control Panel > Programs and Features. Then, reboot your PC.
