While the S805 is an older processor, developers like Abdul_pt have created custom Lollipop ROMs that allow users to run more modern apps and improved versions of media players like Kodi. Before proceeding, understand that the MXQ S805 has dozens of hardware variations (clones). Installing the wrong firmware can "brick" your device (render it permanently unusable). Backup your current system before starting.
