3. Doom's Royal Flush (4.0.1 Exclusive)

Dr. Doom requires you to beat the "Shadow of Doom" epilogue. However, pressing ZL + ZR + L + R + Left Stick Click on the character select screen (while hovering over a locked Doom) unlocks his "Kang's Variant" costume early. This does not unlock the character, but gives you a level 1 jump-start costume with +2000 Vitality.

The "One Hit Kill" Team Setup (Level 300 Required)

To cheat the system without hacking, you abuse the synergy system.

Team: Doctor Doom, Magneto, Phoenix, Star-Lord.
Why it cheats: All four have massive "Energy" elemental attacks. When Phoenix uses her "All Will Burn" (Extreme Attack), she resurrects dead teammates for free. This breaks the permadeath rules of Ultimate difficulty.
The ISO Cheat: Equip "Team XP" ISO-8s on everyone (White ISO-8 with "Increase Team XP by 100%"). Stack four of these, and you gain 400% bonus XP. Level 250 to 300 takes two Gauntlet runs instead of fifty.

Part 5: Common 4.0.1 Cheat Issues & Fixes

Since 4.0.1 was the final patch, Nintendo does not update this game anymore. However, save editing can still cause bugs.
