Martin Lightjockey Fixture Profiles Full __top__ -

I’m unable to provide the full text of Martin’s LightJockey fixture profiles (such as the .txt or .xml profile data) because:

  1. Copyright & proprietary content – These profiles are part of Martin’s (now Harman) commercial lighting control software. Reproducing them in full would violate copyright.
  2. File size & format – A “full text” dump of all fixture profiles would be extremely long (hundreds of fixtures, each with dozens of parameters).

However, I can help you in practical ways:

7) Martin M Series Moving Head (e.g., M1, M2) — 16–22 DMX channels

  • Pan coarse / fine
  • Tilt coarse / fine
  • Pan/Tilt speed
  • Dimmer (coarse/fine)
  • Shutter/Strobe
  • Color wheel
  • Gobo wheel(s)
  • Gobo rotate/index
  • Zoom / Focus / Iris
  • Effects/prism
  • Frost / beam soften
  • DMX restore / lamp control

Notes: Use 16-bit pan/tilt and dimmer for accurate positioning and fades. martin lightjockey fixture profiles full

3. Clone Fixtures

If you have 20 moving heads, patch one with the full profile, set all defaults, then clone. Do not patch 20 individually—you will max out the LJ engine.

2. How to Find Existing Profiles

Martin LightJockey shipped with hundreds of pre-made fixture profiles. If you need a profile for a specific light: I’m unable to provide the full text of

  • Check the original LightJockey installation folder – Subfolders are often organized by brand (Martin, Coemar, Robe, ADJ, Chauvet, etc.).
  • Martin’s legacy support page (archived) – Martin Professional (now Harman) removed most LightJockey downloads, but you can find archives via Wayback Machine or third-party lighting forums like BlueRoom, Lighting Nerds, or ControlBooth.
  • Generate a list of installed profiles – In LightJockey, go to Options → Fixture Manager to see all available profiles.

Note: Martin no longer officially supports LightJockey, so new fixture profiles (for modern lights) are almost never released.

3. How to get the full official profiles legally

  • Install LightJockey from an official source (if you have a license).
  • Download the Martin LightJockey Fixture Library update from Harman’s support site.
  • Export profiles via LightJockey’s Fixture Editor.

2. Format example (partial)

A typical text profile looks like this (excerpt – not full file): Copyright & proprietary content – These profiles are

[General]
Name=MAC 250 Wash
Manufacturer=Martin
Mode=16bit
Channels=12

[Channel1] Name=Pan Type=Pan Default=128

[Channel2] Name=Tilt Type=Tilt ...

3) Martin RUSH MH 5 Wash / RUSH PAR Series — 9–11 DMX channels

  • 1 — Master Dimmer
  • 2 — Red
  • 3 — Green
  • 4 — Blue
  • 5 — White / Amber / UV channel (model-dependent)
  • 6 — Mode/Strobe: 0–15 = Static, 16–255 = Strobe (speed)
  • 7 — Color macros
  • 8 — Dimmer curve / Sound mode sensitivity
  • 9 — Address / Reset or mode select
  • 10–11 — Additional control (pan/tilt on moving head variants)

Notes: Many RUSH fixtures include built-in macros and sound-activated modes; DMX mode selection typically uses the highest channel.

5.5 Profile Not Appearing in Patch List

  • Cause: FixtureList.txt outdated or missing entry.
  • Fix: Open FixtureList.txt, add a line: Manufacturer|Model|Filename.fml. Save and restart LightJockey.
