3.1. "Controller Won't Turn On" (Dead Board)

• Trace the Power Rail: Locate the battery input pins on the schematic.
• Check Fuses: Look for "F1" or similar designators. These are often small 0402 or 0603 package fuses. If the schematic shows a fuse, check continuity.
• Check Capacitors: Look for decoupling capacitors near the MCU (designators starting with "C"). If a capacitor is shorted to ground (measured with a multimeter), it will prevent the controller from powering on. The schematic allows you to identify which rail is shorted.
