8. Uninstallation Instructions (If Needed)

1. Open Control Panel → Programs and Features.
2. Select Kodak Preps 10 → Uninstall.
3. Remove residual folders manually:
   • C:\Program Files\Kodak\Preps 10
   • C:\ProgramData\Kodak\Preps 10
   • %APPDATA%\Kodak\Preps (user settings)
4. Optional: Remove Sentinel HASP driver if no other dongle-protected software exists.

Software Prerequisites

You must have the following installed before launching the Preps 10 setup: kodak preps 10 install

1. Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables (2015-2022) – both x86 and x64.
2. .NET Framework 4.8 (or newer).
3. Sentinel LDK Runtime (for USB dongle licenses) or Kodak License Server (for network licenses).

System requirements (typical)

• OS: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) — check vendor docs for exact supported builds.
• CPU: Multi-core modern processor (Intel i5/Ryzen 5 or better recommended).
• RAM: 8–16 GB (16 GB recommended for large jobs).
• Disk: 2–5 GB free for application + additional for job files.
• Display: 1920×1080 recommended.
• Other: Printer drivers, network share access for job storage, and any required RIP or VDP integrations.

Step 7: Feature Selection

• Core Imposition Engine: Mandatory.
• Acrobat Plugin: Recommended. Allows you to launch Preps directly from a PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• JDF Wizard: Mandatory for automated workflows.

Select all features and click Next.
