First Strike (1996)
- Tier: Good
- Why it’s not Better: The plot makes no sense (CIA, Russian nuclear arms, a shark?). BUT the ladder fight in a hardware store and the underwater fight with a shark are worth the price of admission.
- Index Code: Nonsense: 10/10, Stunts: 8/10

Police Story (1985)
- Tier: BEST
- Why it’s the best: Often cited as the greatest action film of all time. Jackie breaks glass—literally. The opening bus chase, the mall fight that ends with a pole slide through exploding lights, the final stunt where he slides down a 50-foot pole wrapped in electrical wire. No CGI. No wires. Just pain.
- Better than Hollywood? Absolutely. This makes Die Hard look like a picnic.
