- Never share your Hyatt Connect password.
- Always log out after session, especially on shared devices.
- Use only approved networks; avoid public Wi-Fi without VPN.
Problem 1: “Invalid User ID or Password”
- Cause: Caps Lock is on, you have typed an extra space, or your password has expired.
- Solution: Click the “Forgot Password” link (see the next section for a detailed reset guide). If you are certain your password is correct, ask your manager to verify your Employee ID in the HR system. Note that terminated employees are locked out immediately.
Security Best Practices for Hyatt Connect

- Share your password with your manager, a coworker, or “IT support” calling you on the phone (Hyatt IT will never ask for your password).
- Save passwords on public or shared computers (e.g., the business center computer or front desk terminal).
- Use guest Wi-Fi at a Hyatt property to log into Hyatt Connect. Use the employee network or cellular data.
Q5: Why does it ask for my personal email during login?
A: Hyatt uses your personal email (the one you provided on your I-9 or hiring paperwork) as a recovery method. If you need to update it, go to Profile Settings inside Hyatt Connect after login. Never share your Hyatt Connect password
