Unlike its predecessor, Gran Turismo 6 did not rely heavily on "Paid DLC" in the traditional sense. Instead, Polyphony Digital integrated most new content into a massive series of 21 free version updates.
15th Anniversary Car Pack: This was the primary "DLC" included in retail bundles (Precision, Adrenaline, and Velocity packs). It featured 25 cars with a unique Blue 15th Anniversary livery and enhanced performance specs.
Vision Gran Turismo (VGT): A legendary series of concept cars designed by real-world manufacturers (like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Toyota) specifically for the game.
New Tracks: Iconic circuits like Mid-Field Raceway, Brands Hatch, and the massive Circuito de la Sierra were added through these update files.
Ayrton Senna Tribute: A special content set that allowed players to relive the career of the racing legend, featuring his karts and F1 cars. Understanding the "All DLC" Pack Gran-Turismo-6 ----All-DLC--BCES01893
The file BCES01893.part3 is a "split" archive. To use it, you generally need all parts (part1, part2, etc.) in the same folder to extract the final .pkg or folder structure.
BCES01893: This code confirms the content is for the European (EU) version of the game. DLC is region-locked on the PS3, meaning this pack will not work with a US (BCUS) or Japanese (BCJS) copy of the game.
Compatibility: These files are typically designed for use with RPCS3 (the PS3 emulator) or a PS3 console running HEN or Custom Firmware.
Installation: Users typically install these via the "Install Package Files" option on a modded PS3 or by dragging the .pkg into the RPCS3 interface. Important Note on Performance
Gran Turismo 6 is notorious for having a difficult update process. If you are using these DLC files on a physical PS3, it is often recommended to install updates one by one rather than all at once to avoid the "An error occurred during the install operation" screen.
The filename Gran-Turismo-6----All-DLC--BCES01893.part3 indicates that this is the third part of a multi-part archive (likely RAR or 7-Zip) containing the full game (European version, serial BCES01893) bundled with all its downloadable content.

Conclusion: The .part3 File Isn’t Magic
To the person searching for Gran-Turismo-6----All-DLC--BCES01893.part3 – you likely have an incomplete archive from an unofficial source. The safest and most legal path forward is:
- Accept that GT6’s DLC is now lost to time unless you already owned it.
- Support modern sim racers like Gran Turismo 7, which continues to release new cars and tracks.
- If you’re a preservationist, stick to creating backups of your own purchased content.
The mystery of BCES01893 isn’t a technical one—it’s a reminder of how fragile digital game ownership can be.

Here is a review of the "All DLC" experience for Gran Turismo 6 on PS3: The "All DLC" Review: The Ultimate PS3 Racer
Massive Car Roster: The "All DLC" package essentially unlocks the definitive version of the game. While the base game was huge, the updates and DLC added iconic vehicles like the Red Bull X2014 Series (often cited as the fastest car in the game) and the Senna Tribute events. File Name: Gran-Turismo-6----All-DLC--BCES01893
The Content Hassel: One of the biggest criticisms of GT6's DLC and update system is the hassle of installation. Since most "DLC" was delivered via game patches rather than separate store downloads, installing all parts (like your Part 3) is a notoriously slow process on original hardware.
Visuals & Performance: For a PS3 title, it remains stunning. Premium cars feature incredible detail that rivals modern racers, though many "Standard" cars ported from GT4 can look dated.
Physics Evolution: Reviewers note that GT6 improved car handling significantly over GT5, offering better tire suspension modeling and force feedback that makes catching slides feel more natural.
The "Complete" Feel: Having all DLC/updates (up to version 1.22) is essential because it adds the B-Spec mode, track creator, and dozens of Vision GT concept cars that were missing at launch.
Verdict: If you can survive the massive 22 GB installation size and fragmented file extraction, this is the most comprehensive racing experience available on the seventh generation of consoles.
