    • (i) River Mui Wo flows from the hill towards the sea. What is the general direction of flow? (North/South/East/West?) Hint: It flows to the sea near Mui Wo. (2 marks)
    • (ii) Give the 4-figure grid reference for the estuary of River Mui Wo (assume the map is standard HK 1:20,000). (You must invent a realistic answer, e.g., 47 86). (2 marks)
    • (iii) What is the human feature found at Tai O that helps prevent flooding? (Refer to the story). (1 mark)
  5. (e) The story mentions a bay where waves are less powerful. Explain why bays are calmer than headlands. (4 marks)
