- Tip: You do not need every file listed. The "Scanner Driver" is essential. The "Software Operation Panel" is useful for configuring buttons. "PaperStream IP" is an alternative, high-performance driver often preferred for business applications.

Step 4: Download ScanSnap Manager (The Scanning Software) The driver allows the computer to "see" the scanner, but to actually scan documents, you need an application. Fujitsu provides ScanSnap Home for free.

On the same download page (or a linked tab), find ScanSnap Home.
Download the installer for your OS.

Method 2: Using the DVD (If you have the box)

If you have the original installation DVD that came with the scanner:

Insert the DVD into your computer.
If the computer does not have a disc drive, you will need to use Method 1.
Warning: The DVD drivers are often outdated. It is highly recommended to download the latest version from the website (Method 1) to ensure compatibility with Windows 10/11.

What About Windows 11 / Windows 10 32-bit vs 64-bit?

Windows 11 64-bit – Supported natively with the latest PaperStream IP driver.
Windows 10 64-bit – Fully supported.
Windows 10 32-bit – Older driver exists, but 64-bit is strongly recommended.
Windows 7 / 8.1 – Older driver packages are available, but you may need to download from the "Archive" section on the Ricoh site.

The Fujitsu SP1130 does NOT have official drivers for macOS or Linux. If you are on a Mac, you must use virtualization (Parallels/VMware with Windows) or a third-party SANE driver (not recommended for production).
