Erfolgt in
Dateigrößendarstellung in Recordings.

What is CS: Source v92?
In the context of CS: Source, v92 refers to the engine build version introduced around 2013 when Valve migrated their games from the old "GCF" file format to the new SteamPipe ("VPK") format.
- Why does this matter? Most modern mods, custom maps, and server plugins are designed for the v92/SteamPipe version.
- Compatibility: The "Non-Steam" or "No-Steam" versions often circulated on the internet are usually this specific build because it is the most stable for third-party server emulators.
3) Installation process (typical steps)
Assuming a standard unofficial installer/archive, a methodical installation sequence:
- Acquire from source and save installer/archive to a dedicated folder.
- Verify hashes/signatures if provided (SHA256/MD5).
- Scan with antivirus/submit to VirusTotal.
- If archive: extract to a temporary folder and inspect file structure (look for obvious mods, .exe installers, readme).
- Read any included README or INSTALL file for version specifics and dependencies.
- If an installer (.exe/.msi):
- Run as a non-admin or in a VM first to check behavior.
- During setup, decline optional bundled software; choose custom install to avoid extras.
- If the package expects Steam:
- Backup existing Steam/CS:S files first.
- Follow instructions to place files in the Steam library folder if required, then verify game integrity via Steam client.
- After installation, update game via Steam (if possible) or patch per instructions.
- Launch and observe startup logs/crashes; check antivirus quarantines if files blocked.

Neu
in DCC v2.3:
Flashvorgang
von DCC ausgelöst werden soll. Wenn "JA" gewählt wird,
bitte
warten, bis die Fertig-Meldung erscheint. Bei "Nein" ist
alles wie
 gehabt.
Bugfixes:
- Abbruch bei Download Recordings.
- Anzeige Recordings mit fehlerhafter recordings.epl.
 (fehlende #DESCRIPTION)
Neu in DCC v2.2
(nur in deutsch...sorry)
Bekannte Bugs
Datei recordings.epl ohne #DESCRIPTION eingetragen. DCC stoppt
Austausch).
