1. Safety Precautions

WARNING

Step 5: Attaching the Controller

1. Hook the top of the controller onto the top hooks of the installation plate.
2. Pivot the bottom of the controller toward the wall.
3. Press firmly on the bottom until the latch clicks into place.

Configuration & Dip Switches

• Many Daikin controllers require DIP switch or menu configuration to set address/ID, control mode (individual/group), or enable features (remote sensor, alarm input).
• Set the controller address to match indoor unit/controller network requirements (e.g., unit number 1–16).
• After wiring, enter the setup menu to configure system type and options per model-specific instructions.

• Incorrect temperature reading: check placement, sensor wiring, and perform calibration.
