Autodesk Revit 2022 Install [best]
Revit 2022 Installation Report
7) Recommendations & Best Practices
- Keep Revit and Windows updated with relevant patches and security updates.
- Maintain vendor workstation GPU drivers (prefer workstation drivers over consumer variants).
- Install Revit Content Libraries locally or maintain a centralized content server for teams.
- Configure server/network for Autodesk Cloud/License Manager if using multi-user network licenses.
- Create image/snapshot after stable configuration for quick provisioning.
- Regularly back up Revit.ini and custom family libraries.
- Test critical workflows (export, sync, linking) after each update.
Step 1: Accessing the Installer
There are two primary ways to get Revit 2022, depending on your license type.
Step 5: Completion & Reboot
- Click "Finish" when complete.
- Reboot your computer immediately. This finalizes registry entries and environment variables. Skipping reboot can cause “Failed to initialize” errors on first launch.

Hello. This guide is well written. Thanks for sharing.
I do want to ask about your choice of installation directories being created out of /home/oracle. Services, such as ORDS, will run out of the Oracle user’s directory. Do you think it would be more OFA compliant to install everything (APEX, ORDS) under something like /u01/app/oracle?
