Setting Up Right-to-Left Text
- In the Character panel (Window > Character), choose an Arabic/Hebrew-capable font (e.g., Adobe Arabic, Traditional Arabic, Noto Naskh Arabic).
- In Paragraph panel, click the RTL paragraph direction button (if visible). If not present, use the Type menu options described below.
- Use the Type tool and click to type; the cursor will flow RTL and ligatures/kashida will apply automatically.
